I bought all sorts of things while playing the game. I just got to Droknor's/Granite Citadel and I still got 15k with me. People just need to not be wasteful.

Armor I've had on my warrior:
Start set
Collector Armor from PRe-seering
Full suit of Fur
Armor from the Amnoon Oasis (glatiator)
And now I'm halfway through crafting my 15k set

If you aren't wasteful and buy every set of armor that give like an extra 5 armor then you'll have plenty of cash.

A guild hall is for a guild. Go give your guild leader some of your money and let him go buy a sigil. 10 people x 10k a piece = 100k = a guild hall

Guild storage shouldn't happen. Think of all of the immature leechers who will steal everything from the guild vault and leave the guild. Unless only officers can withdraw from it...But it's not really necessary.
Nobody forces you to use this storage.
And if you spam "Guild looking for players" in every city and outpost and grab random people, you deserve no less.

Tombs is much more fun at the moment I realize those aren't great reasons to not have a guild hall but I'm just pointing it out.

Well that means 8 people x 30k = 240k. Whoala! You have enough for a sigil with some left over. Oh wait? You were trying to buy a sigil for your one man guild? A sigil is not meant to be purchased by an individual but by a group of individuals ... a guild even.

They already made a stab at it. I imagine they will try again soon. And NOBODY is hoarding their sigils. That's a nasty rumor that the PvE people started. Well maybe like 1 or 2 people are hoarding their sigils but that isn't going to do much. I know everyone in my guild sells their sigils as fast as they get them. What good is a sigil to us? We just want gold to buy runes and weapons and stuff.

Is it really so hard to just give the gold to your guild leader who can then buy the sigil for the guild? A guild storage would be a cool idea but a lack of it shouldn't hold anyone back from amassing the gold needed for one.
Ha ... they did indeed triple the drop rate to take a stab at making them more common to lower the rate ... the problem is its the same people who dont need them that gets them. There are basically 5 american teams who are commonly owning the HoH.

And nobody in their right minds are hoarding ... hoarding may be a poor term for it. Any one of them would love to part with it for 70-80K ... selling it for 20 for the amount of work it takes to get 1 is almost an insult. So they do have many but are not hoarding them intentionally. Not to say some people are. Last night, some of you may have been there in the Ember Light Camp ... people were gonna completely off the trading of sigils all together, that way more people would jump into the tombs and HoH to righfully earn it (and I'm sure they wanted to scew the economy a little).

And finally the guild storage re: money ... not a good idea ... think of effect .... you know have guild storage that traders can manipulate the econmy with ... for every great cause you get a challenging effect!

You need a celestial sigil to purchase a Guild hall ... with a guild hall you can have Guild vs. Guild battles.

You can get a Celestial Sigil from 1 of 3 places

1. The Vendor at the tombs sells them for currently about 100K
2. The Traders at Lions Arch sell them for roughly 20% cheaper than vendor at all times
3. They drop when you successfully defend the Hall of Heroes ... to get to the Hall of Heroes you must be 'Ascended' after the Crystal Desert. Their is a place called Dragon's Lair ... their is an exit in this community to the Tombs of The Primevial Kings ... here is the doorway to the Hall of Heroes ... just keep winning!

it allows your guild to create a guildhall which is a personal zone for your guild. with a guild hall you can also host or take part in 8v8 guild battles with other guilds that have guild halls

edit: beat to it! :P

Yet from the start to the end of the story line you make, what roughly? 30plat? 50 at the top end of things? And they make a key item in advancing your guild, to the top stakes of the PvP part of the game almost 100k to buy from a vendor.

They seriously need to alter things as to avoid price gouging, and hoarding of these types of high end game items.

Seriously, i'd like to see how AN suggests a person affords one of these items, without farming. Get your guild all to pitch in? Good idea, except.. we dont have a guild storage function (which would be quite nice) to allow people to give to their guild.

No, not at all... Rofl, whats wrong with all these comments like this?

The answers EASY, just get your guild together, and if your guild is worth having guild battles, it can get to the hoh and win... win the hoh and you get your wanted sigil, its practicly a test... i mean... if you suck in hoh, you'll suck more vs high end guilds... especially when trying to take out those pesky mages that guard them thar guild lords...

NOBODY ever said you HAVE to buy a sigil, how about you just win it... and then, maybe win it again... and perhaps, make a TON of money, by selling them at 40k each... it may seem unresonably low, but you'll find MANY customers who want them for that price, and well... you'll be making money in no time... rather then wasting money, how about you get the money...

Before people were selling unidentified boots, what did we need money for? Might as well sit on something with value (a sigil) instead of something without much value (gold).

Though as long as we have to pharm rares to get our runes, we'll happily trade sigils for gold to pay rune pharmers for us.

Peace,

what are you talking about? 35? where did you get that? and um, sigils prices have dropped since the triple drops (100k to 83k) so why would i hoard them till after the change? um dude...do you even know me? why would i hoard them and have dozens of pve'ers beg me for sigils? i have zero reason to hold on to them as they take up way to much space in my inventory. if ppl want to buy sigils from me, then um...i'll be more than happy to take money/unid runes.

so to repeat, i am perfectly willing to trade sigils for unid runes and money.

also, 5 straight wins = 15 sigils...not hard to do. just did it last night before the shutdown.

Getting to the hoh isn't hard, just time your Enter Mission with the annoucement of who won and you'll be instantly teleported into the HoH, not even a monster round! Just ask Lulu how easy it is!

Um, sama? Are you forgetting your own "Selling 35 Celestial Sigils" thread, before the 3 per match update? Because I certainly do.

Are you forgetting he made that post in April, and people only started making a big deal over it a month later claiming that he was hoarding?

Contrary to popular belief, there is no Vast Celestial Sigil Conspiracy(tm) being perpetuated by those people who are presently ruling the roost over at the HoH. Sigils serve you no purpose once you have a guild hall but to be turned into wealth which can be turned into runes or mods, preferably the former.
